Penyanyi dunia, Beyonce baru-baru ini menyumbangkan US$82,234 atau sekitar Rp1 miliar untuk membantu korban masyarakat yang terkena dampak pencemaran pasokan air. Hal ini dilakukannya berdasarkan janji yang telah dibuatnya untuk membantu korban krisis air di Flint dalam konsernya yang digelar di Ford Field beberapa waktu yang lalu. Dan menurut manajemen Beyonce, sebanyak 14 siswa dari sekolah menengah terpilih untuk menerima hadiah untuk membantu pendidikan mereka serta mendapatkan tiket konser langsung untuk menyaksikan Beyonce.
